In light of the near chaos that is going on in the world at the moment, local connections, relationships, suppliers, business, and pretty much everything else that you can reach within a one hour walk to a one day walk may be your most important connection ever.
Our world could shrink drastically. Very rapidly. In under an hour. It has happened before. It could happen again.
This is not a wish or desire, but an understanding of history, its patterns and cycles.
