Sing to my heart for a time when there were still undiscovered horizons to be explored.
I have long been interested in the Lewis and Clark expedition. I was in stationed in Germany and deployed to Iraq when the 200th anniversary events were being held. I did not get to see Ken Burn's documentary until a few years after it was released. The music that played in it still gets to me nearly every time I play it.
Stephen Ambrose's book "Undaunted Courage" is a great book to read if you are interested in story of the expedition of the Corps of Discovery.
