A Silver Lining To The Forever War Of Our Time.

One apparent silver lining to our current constant state of war is the reemergence of a warrior/manly culture. I think the rise in the popularity of everything Norse is a reflection of this. The Norse appreciated a smart, intelligent, masculine warrior. Most cultures in their rise were the same way with their respective warrior classes.

One of the things that I have been doing since we moved into our new home is learning the neighborhood. We were warned about one specific set of neighbors from the very get go by long lived fellow neighbors. "Make sure and keep your children away from them. They are nothing but trouble."

So, the job hunt continues here in our new hometown. I have applied for both governmental and non-governmental jobs. At some point I will have to change tack and look at other avenues for income. It is a challenge.
