Be First, Not Right. Other Quick Thoughts.

A couple of quick thoughts:

1) The MSM has really showed how much they have bought into their mantra of report first, maybe worry about accuracy later. Of course they have done that since election night 2016, but I digress. The latest of course is the story of the Native American being "mocked" by teenagers wearing MAGA hats. Talking heads breathlessly recounted the edited version of the video, which, when the complete video is viewed shows a completely different reality to the story. But what is new? They certainly are not.

2) Gun Control: While the bills are submitted every year by Democrats at the federal level, I am more concerned about some of state level bills that show the spreading of democratic/socialist thought throughout the country. Remember, all politics is local, local, local, and it needs to fought tooth and nail at that level. It is time to out Alinsky the Alinskyites.

3) Shutdown: What a move by POTUS to slightly delay his announcement on Saturday to allow Speaker Pelosi to reject out of hand any offers from the White House. Notice how little has been said about it. Refer back to number 1 of this post to understand how the news cycle MUST be disrupted in order to save face.

4) I have been doing a lot of reading lately. Interestingly enough, the non-fiction has been from the local library. The fiction I read on my Kindle app. For fiction, I have to recommend Bobby Akart. He is very prolific, especially in all variants of TEOTWAWKI fiction. Very good for the most part. For non-fiction I enjoyed finally No Easy Day by Mark Owen. I am reading Kris Paronto's The Ranger Way right now.

5) I changed over my current 10.5 AR Pistol from the Shockwave brace to the SBA3 brace. Night and day. Night and day. The Shockwave will stay with me, probably for a .22lr dedicated AR pistol in the future, but the SBA3 is worth every penny in my opinion.

6) A Very Strange Sudden Spike In Viewership Of This Blog: Has anyone else suddenly had their stats go strangely wonky? I have had surges in the past, but nothing like this. Additionally, surges usually bring comments. Zero so far.
