I have a lot of respect for Travis Haley and his personal journey. His thoughts, ten years on, on his actions and the actions of others at the Battle of Najaf are very interesting.
I personally was at FOB Remagen just outside of Tikrit when the battle happened. I remember being glued to the TVs in the TOC and in the DFAC for news of what was happening.
